Program Outline:
JETRO sends specialists known as Senior Trade Advisors to foreign countries for extended periods of time providing advice and supporting government agencies, trade promotion groups and companies to better promote exports to Japan.

Senior Trade Advisors offer a wealth of importing expertise based on their own professional experience at general trading companies, manufacturers, or retailers.

Their Job:
-Find foreign-made products that offer export potential to Japan.
-Inform Japanese business persons and enterprises about foreign products presenting such potential in the Japanese market.
-Provide information about procedures involved in exporting to Japan.
-Recommend product improvements or alterations in order to increase the products' demand in the Japanese market.
-Conduct PR activities that encourage enterprises to consider exporting to Japan.

Export to Japan Study Program (EJSP)

Program outline:
This nine day program gives business people a unique chance to visit Japan and gain a firsthand understanding of the market, as well as develop contacts and pursue potential business opportunities.

･Panel discussions
･Time to pursue individual interests

Market Researcher

Program outline:
Staff from trade promotion organizations, chambers of industry and commerce, and other similar organizations in developing countries are invited to Japan as 'researchers'. For one month JETRO provides these researchers the opportunity to investigate and study the export promotion systems and methods in order for certain producers to successfully export their products to the Japanese market.

TTPP (Trade Tie Promotion Program)

TTPP is a system for directly registering, vie internet, proposals concerning business with Japanese companies, providing search and browsing services and enabling direct contact with Japanese companies that match your requests.
