Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC)

JETRO operates six Invest Japan Business Support Centers (IBSCs) across Japan to provide one-stop support and service to foreign firms seeking to set-up business in Japan. The centers, linked into relevant government ministries and agencies, provide free temporary office space, consultation with expert advisors and access to a wealth of business information.

JETRO organizes various events worldwide geared towards foreign firms wishing to do business in Japan, including business-matching programs, industrial tours and "Invest Japan" symposiums.

Governmental Support

To facilitate investment in Japan, the government operates single contact points in relevant ministries and agencies for inquires/support regarding doing business in Japan. The Office of Trade and Investment Ombudsman (OTO) and No-Action Letter system are also outlined.
