US-based VSS Monitoring Goes into High Gear in Japan's IP Network Device Business
VSS Monitoring Inc.
(VSS: Burlingame, CA), a leading US-based IP network equipment manufacturer, established its Japan subsidiary (VSS Monitoring K.K.) in Tokyo this spring. The firm opened its Japan arm with a view to expanding its business and visibility in the country, as well as to boost global competitiveness through working more closely with its Japanese clients. This is the first overseas foray for VSS, whose products and services (mainly network taps and distributed tap solutions) are available in some 88 countries worldwide through 22 sales partners.
VSS made use of JETRO's Business Support Center (IBSC) in Tokyo to set-up its Japan office, utilizing free consultations with expert advisors on a range of business matters, including corporate registration, taxes, accounting and insurance.
