Well-known Italian Interior Goods Brand, Alessi, Opens Japan Arm
Italy-based interior goods firm, Alessi s.p.a
, opened its Japan subsidiary, Alessi Japan Co., Ltd. in Tokyo this April 1st, aiming to further its presence in the Japan market.
Established in 1921, Alessi is one of Italy's most respected and venerable brands, and its high design products, made in collaboration with leading designers, are admired around the world. The firm currently offers its products in some 60 countries.
Alessi will continue working with CASSINA IXC Ltd., previously the firm's sole Japan importer, to expand sales in the country.
To set-up its Japan office, Alessi made use of JETRO's Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) in Tokyo, utilizing free office space and consultations with expert advisors, on such matters as visas.
