Switzerland-based Inter Clamp Holding AG Opens Japan Subsidiary in Yokohama
Swiss-based Inter Clamp Holding AG—parent company of Oetiker group, a leading maker of high-performance clamps and bands for a variety of applications—began full-scale operations from its newly-established Japan subsidiary, Oetiker Japan, in Yokohama.
Oetiker's products
, with over 60 years of history, have already been available in the Japan market, via its domestic distributor. The firm's new Japanese venture was established with the aim of improving relations with its Japan outlets and boosting customer service in the country, as well as to expand business in Asia.
Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokohama City and JETRO worked together to attract Oetiker to Yokohama. The company is the first Swiss enterprise to make use of the prefecture's "Invest Kanagawa" one-stop service.
