Helping Japanese companies identify top-quality foreign personnel

To give Japanese companies an additional tool for evaluating the Japanese language skills of existing and potential employees, JETRO administers the BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test (formerly the "JETRO Test") in Japan and other countries. The test provides an objective evaluation of a non-native speaker's ability to communicate in Japanese in business situations.
The JETRO International Internship Program was terminated at the end of March, 2008, based on revision of activities of independent administrative agencies by Japanese government.
