Japanese-German Photovoltaic Energy Initiative Symposium (at Hannover Messe)

During Hannover Messe 2008, JETRO, together with Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), will organize the "Japanese-German Photovoltaic Energy Initiative Symposium" on April 24th, inviting government officials, leading researchers and prominent business figures from both countries' photovoltaic (PV) fields. The event will provide an opportunity for discussion on how Japanese-German strategic partnerships in the PV field can boost both countries' competitiveness in the industry and develop new PV markets. Topics will include R&D for new technologies, standardization and market development, giving attendees a wide view on the latest industry trends as well as prospects for the future. All are invited to attend this important event, but pre-registration is required.
