JETRO Africa Symposium:Vibrant Africa - a Continent of Business Opportunities (Official TICAD IV Event)

Against the backdrop of strong economic growth in many African nations, driven by soaring natural resource prices and increased foreign direct investment, JETRO will hold Africa Symposium in Yokohama on May 29th, together with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the World Bank.
Inviting dignitaries from Africa and Japan as well as prominent business figures from around the globe, the symposium will examine Africa's recent growth trends and discuss ways for achieving sustainable growth and shifting economic structures away from over-reliance on natural resources. The event will also examine ways private companies can contribute to Africa's development through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. Admission is free but pre-registration is required. Simultaneous interpretation in English, French and Japanese will be available. Please See below for details and registration information.
